1. I could’ve studied in Miriam College for my college because my parents wanted me to be there but I chose in UST.
2. As much as possible, I try to be patient because I know I have a very bad temper and I’m really a hot-headed person.
3. I never liked being called “Marielle”. As a matter of fact, I never introduced myself to people or in any events with that name because I hated the meaning of that name: My family are the only one who are immune to call me this since it’s mom who gave me this name. My elementary friends call me “Dan”. My high school friends call me “D” and “Dani”. My college friends call me “dae”, “DMS” and “Elle” or “Ellie”. I know that “Danielle” seems to be more on masculine side but I hated my nickname “Marielle” because of its meaning “Sea of Bitterness” while “Danielle” is “Judged by God”. **Please! don’t call me “Daniela”.
4. I don’t give a chance are those who are TRAITORS. So, if you want to be my friend, make sure you will never betray me ever.
5. Break-time/Recess was my favorite subject (who isn’t?).
6. My celebrity crushes are: Hayden Christensen, Kevin Zegers, Wentworth Miller, and Orlando Bloom.
7. I really find British and Canadian guys HOT.
8. My favorite channels for now are AFC and Food Network. My favorite is INA GARTEN and Rachael Ray. I love watching them how to bake. I tried to watch Guida, her shows seem to be okay but my mom and brother can’t stand her.
9. I started to love baking and cooking. It’s fun! But I never dream of becoming a chef in the future. My dream really is that I’ll be able to make food that will be accpetable by the consumers with baking and cooking applications. But, if something will change in the future, like maybe I’ll be able to own a bakeshop and be a well-known baker or maybe I’ll end up working in sales, then so be it.
10. I have few friends. Really. I’m not that extrovert. In fact, I used to be a loner during my 2nd year in college. How I wish I’m like my parents and my brother.
11. I’m a coffee and chocolate lover. But what’s weird is that, yes, I may be a chocolate lover but I’m not fond of eating pure chocolate cakes, brownies & fudges, chocolate ice-cream and chocolate drinks.
12. I really suck in English public speaking and driving.
13. I’d rather write to express myself and on things that I am interested in than speaking.
14. When I was 9 years old, I was a frustrated writer. I used to write short stories and I even get to influence my classmates back then.
15. I’ve made a lot of mistakes when I was in high school and because of that, high school was my most REGRETFUL chapter in my life and if I want to go back in time, it will be high school. Because I want to make everything right.
16. My dad and I used to date in McDonald’s every Friday night when I was a child. My usual order was McSpaghetti, Mc Nuggets, large fries and coke. I haven’t outgrew that and until now, I still order those when we’re going to take-out in McDo (that is only if my parents are going to pay. During my school days, I only eat chicken fillet with rice because it’s reasonable at its price).
17. I love seeing shih-tzus around.
18. Mom used to buy me hello kitty stuffs when I was a tween but my favorite character back then was Tweety.
17. I cry not only when I’m sad but also when I’m angry.
18. I love to listen to 60’s, 70’s , 80’s and 90’s songs. Thanks to dad since that’s what he usually listens in the car and on his CD player. He influenced me to that.
19. Revival songs = hate them!
20. I don’t admire most artists nowadays. They only revive songs.
21. Politics is not my thing but of course, I read newspaper to know what’s going on.
22. My family used to hang-out in T.G.I. Friday’s during Halloween and we did it again last year. That’s the reason why I love Halloween. I get to see the waiters and waitresses there in scary costumes. My favorite of course is Darth Vader and the character in Scary Movies.
23. I was afraid of butterflies when I was a kid. I even avoid them but now, I love them. I guess most girls love it.
24. I’m not a vegetarian and I’m not planning to be one but someday, I want the livestocks to be in a free-range places like farm instead of in crowded slaughterhouses so that they can move and breathe fresh air and that, we can eat them better, less toxins.
25. I have no sports. My exercises are walking, running, swimming(not tournament) and aerobic exercises.
26. Pink and violet- my most favorite color partners. Talk about being too girly.
27. Everybody may think I’m weird but I find chubby guys attractive and cute. I would prefer them over big muscled guys.
28. I’m not fond of watching local teleseryes and reality tv shows lately. I don’t know why.
29. I hate goary movies like “Beyond the Limits” and “Rumbo”.
30. Botany= the most boring science and subject I ever took.
31. Mathematics was my hatest subject during my lower elementary years but it became my best when I was in 5th grade. I even took a course with loads of math and chemistry.
32. I’d rather sit and solve killer integral calculus and food engineering problems than take up CAT and ROTC. Military trainings almost got me killed. I had minor heart attack when I was in 4th years High school in my CAT class. I even can’t bear the talking starting with sir and then ending with sir. I even can’t bear that they always shout whenever they will command something, yet in work, your boss doesn’t shout at you if you’ll be asked to do something.
33. I can’t tolerate those people who are bossy yet they’re not the boss.
34. As much as possible, I maintain being professional in work even if I’m grouped with my friends. I don’t actually tolerate “parasites”.
35. My favorite love teams: Brangelina (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie), Leyton ( I used to love Brucas but after watching OTH season 6, I see that they make better couples), Naley( Nathan and Haley from OTH), Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl, Edward Cullen and Bella Swann(Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart) from Twilight. Locally, I love Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz. I still can’t get enough with their movie “One More Chance”.
36. Comfort food: french fries! especially if I dip those in sundae. My guilty pleasure whenever I eat in McDo.
37. I was a “negrita” during my lower years in elementary. But, i’ve learned to love my skin. White/fair doesn’t mean 100% beautiful.
38. I can’t stand people who want to be the center of attention.
39. I now open myslelf in different teachings of other religions. Trust me, you can learn a lot more. One thing’s for sure they believe in one common ground: there’s a GOD.
40. Excellent in Math and Science/High grades = doesn’t mean you’re one of the SMARTEST.
41. ‘Lion King’ was the first movie I watched in cinema. It was even the first movie where I cried because of Mufasa’s death scene. I still love it until now. It’s so magical and classical.
42. Gossipers = insecure! Don’t mind them. They’re bored with their own lame lives.
43. I used to dream that I will become a doctor in the future because I would like to be the one who will cure my parents and grandparents. That dream died since my experience of dissecting a frog and having a practical test on pig’s heart during my Biology class when I was a sophie high school and of course, because of mom. She really did tell of the work loads when you will be taking up PRE-MED (yes, pre-med only!) and that, I think I wouldn’t like it.
44. I wish that I’ll be working in food flavorings in the future. A very good work background for me.
45. I get turned-off to people nowadays who text and blog with “pOh, pOw, q, wulah lng, etc.”.
46. I’m a new year baby yet I hate firecrackers (fireworks are excepted).
47. Don’t ever call me “perfect” or that I’m too perfect for you because I am not and I will never be. I will even think that you’re just making “bola” or you’re insincere with what you’re saying.
48. Chinese who are speaking Chinese so that no Filipinos can understand you = a big NO!
49. I don’t like it when people take me for granted.
50. My Ideal Man: gentleman, responsible, industrious, loyal, honest, trustworthy, and who’ll call me BEAUTIFUL instead of HOT.
